Recap-New Site Still Underway

Hello lovely bloggies!!! Sorry for being MIA the past few days. I’ve been working on getting my own hosted site up and running and it’s taking a bit longer than expected. In the meantime I am going to continue to use this one and I hope you all keep reading and follow me to my new site once it’s in working order. It is going to be wonderful and I hope you all like it!!!!!

SATURDAY

We all went paintballing in the morning and had a blast!!!! I don’t have any food photos because I was out in the Jungle flexing my stealth skills and dominating the battleground!

Joey and I were invited to a very special grad party at the Harvard Club for my cousin Lucy. It was so nice to see that part of the family again and for Joey to meet some powerful people. It’s all about networking people!

This morning I woke up to a comforting bowl of oat bran. Today it was extra creamy and good.

Today I am off to go to Total Body Conditioning at the BSC. I don’t really have any other plans besides possibly checking out the Dragon Boat races on the Charles River. I think I am going to plan on doing that, but I have some advertising work to squeeze in somewhere today. Tomorrow, back to the grind of beginning a new week.

I hope you all had a fabulous and enjoyable weekend. From reading all your blogs on Google Reader sounds like there were some fun activities going on…ex: bowling, surfing, marathons, etc.

Friday Night=Steakhouse Night

Goodevening lovely bloggers. So I am working on getting my web site up and running, but to be honest I have no idea how to work anything so it’s taking some time. I don’t understand computer lingo so it’s straight up jibberish right now!!!!!!

But on a better note I ate a fabulous filet mignon tonight. So not vegan, veggio, or anything of the sort, but straight up raw. I am a very big meat eater and when the occasion comes around for a fabulous prime cut steak, I am so there!

I will be posting pictures soon, but I just wanted to update you all on the reason for the lack of photos. I will hopefully have it all figured out and working soon. In the meantime I will continue to post my pics on this while I settle into the new Web site.

Must be off, getting called to taking shots and dancing.

Hot Damn It’s Friday!

It’s already Friday! I love it!!!!!

Last night was a huge success in deciding to go see Up! When we got to the theater the 3-D version was just starting so we asked if we can switch our tickets to see it in 3-D. It was $3 extra, but it was well worth it. Everything popped out at you and made the whole experience awesome. It was like I was actually inside the Pixar world!!!!

Before heading out Joey and I whipped up an easy-peasy repeat of our Mexican Quesadillas. We were super hungry so I had a roadblock about taking pictures, but you guys already know what the fiesta was all about.

Back to the movie…it started out so sad!!!! Thank goodness the mood lightened up after the first couple scenes. Pixar is genius when it comes to making witty, hilarious movies and characters. How bout the dobberman pincher (?spelling and right name for dog?) with the squeeky voice!!!!

All in all it was a good night.

This morning I woke up super early for a summer Friday (7AM) and instantly made myself a pot of coffee. I sipped that while reading up on some Google Reader, then I headed back to the kitchen to blend up some Green Monster goodness. I figured I should start out my Friday with a good dose of green nutrition.

Soooooo delish! I feel satisfied, but just barely. I feel like my mid-morning snack will be coming earlier than usual.

Tonight my grandpa is coming into town so Joey, me, my roomie, and her boyfriend Dougie are headed to a nice steak dinner with him. Should be a nice time. After we are thinking of hitting up Daisy’s for some post-dinner bevvies.

Hope you guys all started your Friday on a good note. I am back in bed relaxing while Joey sleeps. When he wakes up we are going to make a joint decision on whether we should workout or not.

Walked my Sox Off Today

HOLY MOLY!!!! I have walked so much today that at one point my legs switched to autopilot and I forgot I was even walking. I was so numb and now I am exhausted. It all started after my workout and right after lunch, Caroline and I decided we needed to spend some money so we walked our SOX (since we’re in Boston) OFF, literally.

We walked all the way down Newbury and after picking out a really cute eye shadow in MAC I realized I forgot my wallet at home. UGH! So we had to walk alllll the way back, then to the Prudential Center, then to JCrew to get these really soft boyfriend t-shirts (ON SALE go buy!), then walk all the way to Whole Foods so I could get my grocery shopping fix for the day.

So to sum it up I’ve basically been excersizing non-stop all day. Feel pretty good about lounging now!

Now I am lounging and regaining my strength to cook up a super easy repeat of last night’s Mexican Quesadilla feast. I figured we should use up all the stuff we had leftover last night…trying to make sure I eat everything before they go bad, I hate throwing things away.

Also, Joey and I are finally going to a late showing of Up! I can’t wait to see it and laugh, cry, giggle, and do whatever you do when you watch the magic of Pixar.

Almost the Weekend- Woop Doop!

Good morning lovelies!!!! I feel like today is going to be a good day. I made a kickass bowl of oat bran and some nice strong coffee to fuel me for my Club Strength sesh in a bit. I really don’t get around to doing things until noon on most days, since my group workout don’t start till noon and my one class doesn’t start till 1. It’s nice having leisurely mornings to do as I please, I mean come on it’s summer, what else am I supposed to do!!!???

This morning I am only giving you a glimpse at my lovely protein oat bran, because you will be able to see the full post along with the ingredients and goodness when it is posted on the lovely Rose’s blog (On A Lobter Placemat) while she is a away (I’m one of the guest bloggers, hellz yes!)

I am heading into the gym about an hour before my strength sesh starts so I can get some mileage in on the stationary bike and eliptical. I feel like a slug on my ass lately because I have been sitting around way too much. Gotta stop that and take more walks.

Today’s Agenda:

  • Come home eat some grub – I’ll try and make it look as good as my oats (tryy)
  • Grocery Shop (my fav thing in the world)
  • Maybe do a little shopping with Caroline, my roommate who just got back!!!!
  • Maybe see Up! I’ve been trying to go for the past week now
  • Maybe have some bevvies
  • Cook or go out

There are a lot of maybes today, but it should be a good day.

Simple Mexican Dinner

I am so happy I enjoyed my Green Monster this morning!!!!! It was so delish and I will def add it to my breakfast list. I don’t think it would fuel me through Club Strength, so I will stick with oatmeal on those days, and Green Monsters on other days. Today my smoothie lasted me about 3 hours before I felt hunger knocking.

Before dinner I snacked on my fuji and AB that I didn’t eat during class.

Dinner tonight was simple and quick…Joey and I both weren’t really in the mood to whip up some extravagant meal.
