Walked my Sox Off Today

HOLY MOLY!!!! I have walked so much today that at one point my legs switched to autopilot and I forgot I was even walking. I was so numb and now I am exhausted. It all started after my workout and right after lunch, Caroline and I decided we needed to spend some money so we walked our SOX (since we’re in Boston) OFF, literally.

We walked all the way down Newbury and after picking out a really cute eye shadow in MAC I realized I forgot my wallet at home. UGH! So we had to walk alllll the way back, then to the Prudential Center, then to JCrew to get these really soft boyfriend t-shirts (ON SALE go buy!), then walk all the way to Whole Foods so I could get my grocery shopping fix for the day.

So to sum it up I’ve basically been excersizing non-stop all day. Feel pretty good about lounging now!

Now I am lounging and regaining my strength to cook up a super easy repeat of last night’s Mexican Quesadilla feast. I figured we should use up all the stuff we had leftover last night…trying to make sure I eat everything before they go bad, I hate throwing things away.

Also, Joey and I are finally going to a late showing of Up! I can’t wait to see it and laugh, cry, giggle, and do whatever you do when you watch the magic of Pixar.

Almost the Weekend- Woop Doop!

Good morning lovelies!!!! I feel like today is going to be a good day. I made a kickass bowl of oat bran and some nice strong coffee to fuel me for my Club Strength sesh in a bit. I really don’t get around to doing things until noon on most days, since my group workout don’t start till noon and my one class doesn’t start till 1. It’s nice having leisurely mornings to do as I please, I mean come on it’s summer, what else am I supposed to do!!!???

This morning I am only giving you a glimpse at my lovely protein oat bran, because you will be able to see the full post along with the ingredients and goodness when it is posted on the lovely Rose’s blog (On A Lobter Placemat) while she is a away (I’m one of the guest bloggers, hellz yes!)

I am heading into the gym about an hour before my strength sesh starts so I can get some mileage in on the stationary bike and eliptical. I feel like a slug on my ass lately because I have been sitting around way too much. Gotta stop that and take more walks.

Today’s Agenda:

  • Come home eat some grub – I’ll try and make it look as good as my oats (tryy)
  • Grocery Shop (my fav thing in the world)
  • Maybe do a little shopping with Caroline, my roommate who just got back!!!!
  • Maybe see Up! I’ve been trying to go for the past week now
  • Maybe have some bevvies
  • Cook or go out

There are a lot of maybes today, but it should be a good day.

Simple Mexican Dinner

I am so happy I enjoyed my Green Monster this morning!!!!! It was so delish and I will def add it to my breakfast list. I don’t think it would fuel me through Club Strength, so I will stick with oatmeal on those days, and Green Monsters on other days. Today my smoothie lasted me about 3 hours before I felt hunger knocking.

Before dinner I snacked on my fuji and AB that I didn’t eat during class.

Dinner tonight was simple and quick…Joey and I both weren’t really in the mood to whip up some extravagant meal.

I am Officially A Green Monster Drinker

Happy hump day everyone!!! This is going to be a super quick post because I have to race off to class, but I wanted to let you all know I am officially a green monster drinker as of today!!!!!!

I finally made the leap, bought the stuff to make it, and whipped one up this morning.

Breakfast=Green Monster

  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 2tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 scoop vanilla PP
  • 1tsp flaxseed
  • 1 cup vanilla hempmilk

IT WAS AMAZINGGG!!!!! AAAHHHHHH!! And it kept me full for 3 hours!!!

So today I have been fairly productive. I got my laundry done, went and worked out, ate a good lunch, and even went and got a facial!!!! Hey it’s personal day, a little extravagance here and there won’t hurt. I also went and bought the ingredients to make me a GREEN MONSTER SMOOTHIE for breakie tomorrow!!!!!

Lunch

After the gym I rushed home and whipped up this lunch before heading back out the door to get a facial and pick up Green Monster goodness.

Really good combo. I thought it was going to be a little weird, but i really wanted to use up some of the cabbage in my fridge. It was super tasty, so I will be making that again!

While eating my snack I got soooo freakin frusterated with Gmail. Supposedly I am over quota, but I emptied my trash, deleted a ton of important emails, and now have nothing in my email box, but still get bounced emails when receiving them!!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!!

To blow off some steam I am off to watch Joey’s club softball game. Hopefully that will help. I don’t know what I am going to do about this email situation, and there is no contact number to call Google!! GRRR….

Anywho I am taking a new flavor kombucha on the walk with me….I will be back with dinner and game results.

Good Morning!!! Today is my personal day since I don’t have class…so to keep myself busy I have planned a major to-do list that I really hope I stick to! After I write this post I plan on starting 2 loads of laundry, then heading to the gym for a quick eliptical sesh, then Club Strength. Here is my to-do list of the day…

I really hope I stick to this list and focus my energy on the tasks at hand. I tend to get sidetracked with reading blogs and basically waisting time on nothing hahah.

So I am really excited to finally try a GREEN MONSTER SMOOTHIE. The blogworld is buzzing so much about these drinks and I feel really out of the loop. I already had a huge TBS of almond butter today, so I think I’ll save my smoothie for tomorrow.

June 1st Beauty of a Day

Today was beautiful! Finally June 1st marks some real summer weather. I’ve been patiently waiting around here in Boston for the weather to match the season. Today was terrible when it comes to taking pictures of everything I ate. I ventured to the post office this morning to send off my secret blogger package, did a few more things around the house, then all of a sudden I ran out of time and had to rush to class.

Before I headed out I made sure to pack a sandwich: turkey, cabbage, tomatoes, pepperjack, dijon –> no picture because I was rushed. I did manage to take a quick pic of my snack before heading out the door.

I know I said my stomach has been acting up when I eat yogurt, cottage cheese, or too much dairy, but I really missed my yogurt snacks so I had to try one last time…guess what? NO STOMACH ACHE TODAY!!! I am so happy about this. I really hope it stays this way, but just to be safe I’ll limit my yogurt snackage to every other day.

Ate my sandwich and made a quick pit stop in Starbucks to pick up an Iced Unsweetened Green Tea. Love this stuff!

During class I recieved a confirmation email regarding my interview with Holley Johnson, Food Editor for Myrecipes.com. The interview is set for Wednesday and I can’t wait to post it for you all to read.

When I finally got home after a not so eventful class discussion I was tired as hell. I snacked on this lovely foodage while I waited for Joey to get done working on a school project. FYI he is in Construction Management.

Joey and I went on a lovely stroll through the neighborhood and peeped into the townhouses we wish we could live in (wayyyyy toooo freckin pricy, but someday) I love looking in other peoples living rooms to see how they are designed…is that creepy?

On our loop back home we stopped at the best ever JP licks for some very much needed FROYO!!

I got a kiddie cone of vanilla and coffee froyo. Scrumptious.

Most often I usually get a yummy flavor mixed with this…yogx3…just like Pinkberry tart flavor!

Tonight I got some reading to do and some more lounging. Tomorrow morning, well more like noon, I’m off to Club Strength, but not before a delightful bowl of oat bran!

Tonight TV: DINERS DRIVE INS AND DIVES. Come on..everyone loves this show! I saw my aunt on the show a couple weeks a go!!!
